Hi, and thanks for reading more about me!

My name is Taylor Weldon. I live in San Diego, California.

My Story

I grew up in Georgia and have lived across the country—from New York City (where I attended Columbia University) to San Francisco and now San Diego.

Originally starting as pre-med at Columbia, I shifted course after my father, who was a doctor, passed away during my high school years. After graduating in December 2019, I worked at a horse stable in the Rocky Mountains before moving to San Francisco without a job, where I broke into tech by learning SQL in just two weeks.

I currently work as a data analyst at Bulk Exchange, a construction tech company. My previous experience includes Business Operations & Analytics at Dimension, Strategic Operations at DevRev, and Operations & Analytics at Tempo.

I also previously worked at a sustainable cosmetics startup backed by Mark Cuban that created concentrated soap products in biodegradable casings.

I helped my brother start a foundation waterproofing company that made over a million dollars in sales in its first year. I’m currently exploring starting a service business, leveraging technology to modernize industries that typically rely on fax machines and phones.

My real estate portfolio includes small multifamily properties in Montana and Maine. I’m exploring land development in Maine with aspirations to create a small community inspired by the flight community where my grandmother lived.

I graduated from Columbia University, where I was a Dean’s List Recipient (December 2019); I was also a Virginia Harrold Scholarship Recipient (September 2016).

I value variety in my work and life experiences, which explains my diverse career trajectory and interests.
